We want to be an option of hope for the individual and an impact of desirable change for people.
MISSION
CANBE LIFE GLOBAL’s purpose is to promote the all-inclusive development of people and communities in vulnerable situations through the development of projects that positively impact them and stimulates integral personal and community growth.
Introduction
CLG is a faith based non-denominational and non- profit organization that focuses on marriage and family development and empowerment as a medium to help people and communities. Guided by God’s word, we help correct the effects of life irregularities. Many believe the best kind of life is out of this world, that is correct, but it is nevertheless very possible to begin to live it out here and now. Every human being has the capacity to live out their best life; but how? You see, to best understand a product (its component, capacity, etc), consultation with its manufacturer is inevitable. Hence the creator of life is our chief consultant at CANBE LIFE GLOBAL. Here, we believe Jesus’ life is the best, perfect and model life worthy of patterning after or shaping all others according to John 14:6 & 1:4. Jesus’ life is the light that patterns and models all others. Psalm 119:105.
WHAT WE DO
There are ills – that shouldn’t define you (examples include loneliness, workplace conflicts, addiction, disability, depression, brokenness, etc.), and there are dreams (they include healthy mind and body, professional success, happy life, healthy relationships, prosperous business etc.); Canbe life helps fill in the gap between both; helping people navigate life from the place of “ills” to “dream realization.” Whereas, our process of dream realization is not automatic (due to human fallibility), but gradual according to Proverbs 4:18.
WHO IS OMOSIVIE?
The founder, Omosivie Omoruyi, has been happily married to Pastor Matthew Omoruyi for over 16 years now, and they are blessed with three Children. She lived with her family in Nigeria, where she gladly supported her husband (and still does). She also worked with the Edo State House of Assembly as an assistant chief legislative officer until September 2022, when she, together with her family, immigrated to Canada as permanent residents. Omosivie gave her life to Christ in 1993, became the vice president of her secondary school fellowship in 1997, and became an ordained minister of God in March 2012. She has B.Sc (Hons) in Microbiology, Proficiency Certificate in Management, BCC – WOFBI, LCC – WOFBI, and is currently studying the Social Service Community Worker program at NBCC. She is a licensed Family Life Coach.
Before the establishment of CANBE LIFE GLOBAL, Omosivie established and operated an NGO back in Nigeria called Saved to Serve Impact Mission (SSIM), through which she was able to reach out to students, teaching them reasons to abhor and desist from immoral practices and rather face their studies as well as serve God. Many students gave their lives to Christ. Several others were counselled and helped out of the life of abuse. Over the years, SSIM has served as a hub, providing inspirational resources in the form of articles and videos (#LETSHEARITWITHOMOSIVIE); presently, it has now evolved into Canbe Life Global (CLG), a Nonprofit Organization. This transition became necessary as Omosivie (the founder of CLG) relocated with her family from Nigeria to Canada.
Furthermore, Omosivie has been organizing, participating in, and teaching at several conferences and church meetings. From her early years in life, she developed a passion for helping people live better and more qualitative lives to the best of her ability, as God gives grace.
